This very intense one-day course helps you to prepare for the Multifamily Radon Measurement Advanced Certificate Program with the National Radon Proficiency Program.(To be eligible for the Certificate Program, you need to hold a NRPP basic measurement certification. State licensing is not a substitute) The demand for professionals in this area has been fueled by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) mortgage requirements for multifamily property purchase refinancing, or rehabilitation. The HUD requirements include radon testing of multifamily buildings according to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard on multifamily buildings radon measurement. This course focuses on this standard.
