Course Description:  This course equips radon measurement professionals with essential skills and knowledge to ensure accurate and consistent results in their practice. It covers key elements of the ANSI/AARST MS-QA-2023 quality control standard. Topics include uncertainty in measurement, statistics of measurement and the role of duplicates, blanks and spikes. Participants will understand the difference between accuracy and precision and explain the lower limit of detection and minimum measurable radon concentration. Upon completion create QC charts and manage their QA program.
